Oscar De La Renta Insane Good Fragrances

Dominican fashion designer Oscar de la Renta used to be Jacqueline Kennedy's couturier, back in the 1960s, when he designed for Elizabeth Arden, Christian Dior; former associate of Lanvin and Balmain, Oscar de la Renta runs his own influential fashion house. There are several extensions of the fashion house of Oscar de la Renta, including perfumery, accessories, and homewares. De la Renta's first fragrance was launched in 1977.

Oscar de la Renta's portfolio of fragrances is, to say the least, interesting:

  • Rosamor - the sandalwood and tonka base of Rosamor manages to revitalize the tuberose, ylang ylang, and heliotrope combination as soon as the sparkling mandarin and muguet entrance of this perfume allows its heart to bloom;
  • Pour Lui - in this formula, Oscar de la Renta has used geranium, fern and clove with a lot of character and managed to intertwine lavender and frankincense in a superb accord especially created to pamper your senses in delight;
  • Oscar For Men - the perfume opens with a shallow layer of leather, vanilla, fir balsam, and musk before opening its jasmine, nutmeg, violet, and clove heart, lying on a mandarin, pepper and bergamot blanket;
  • So De La Renta - have you ever experienced an unexpected perfume epiphany? The most beautiful scent in the whole Oscar de la Renta collection is So de la Renta; wonderfully sweet and remarkable at the same time, So de la Renta is different, yet keeps the spirit of the brand. The exotic woods combination blends perfectly with the floral notes, especially with the freesia, gardenia, lotus, and tuberose, thus summing up the mood of the entire collection.

As expected from a versatile designer, the perfumery portfolio of Oscar de la Renta is particularly appealing in terms of appearance. All these perfumes and colognes are well "dressed"; you simply cannot help loving these bottles.
